The mod fashion movement threw away the pale colours of s and replaced them with bright skirts, PVC dresses, floral hippy patterns and gogo boots.

I remember playing hide-and-go-seek after the sun went down. For example, the program "Peter Gunn" was big in the fifties, but I caught it in syndication in the early sixties. The guys and me would be out on our stingray bikes riding around, bare-chested and cool.

Hot bands were forming by the dozens. I laid these out to be visually appealing, to reflect my moods of the decade and how my memory sees them, rather than following some strict web design guideline.

These pages are basically memoirs of my growing up during one of the most colorful and exciting decades ever.

An idol towards teenage girls as she brought out the best of the horrors of adolescence. Even the music of the sixties was better. All of the graphics and some of the photos on this site were done by me, as well as much of the imagery that has been re-created. So I joined the shouting crowd and when they started moving down the street I walked too.

Along the way someone handed me a sign and I held it up, while shouting along with the crowd. You could actually peer into open screen doors and watch television through the rusty mesh.

Also designer Mary Quant who was credited for the creation mini skirts and hot pants. Just a bit about why I built this site. We currently have 2 cats, and I am fanatical about dogs. A couple hours later the crowd had mostly disbanded and it was time to return to Broadway.
